The Seven Turns Seven!
And just like that, The Seven is seven! On April 18th 2019, The Seven entered the world. Nowhere near perfect, with a name blunder you wouldn't believe even if I told you, it was my debut nonetheless and I loved it. First of all, I can't thank Isabel enough for the stunning picture of my seven psychotic children. I wanted a picture of all seven of them together before they separated ten years before the first book, and Isabel delivered that tenfold. Please, please go check o

They're letting me come back! Being invited to attend Belfast Books and Ballgowns in 2025 was a privilege, being asked back for 2027 is an honour. I am truly thankful and blessed to be included amongst so many insanely talented people. Meeting everyone and interacting with readers was an experience beyond description, and I am so excited to do it all again next year! 📚 Thank you Nikita for not only organising this event but for believing in me to be part of it ❤️

Pilgrimage to Cardiff Bay ❤️
I told BBC News that I was planning a trip, and I wasn't kidding! Ianto's Shrine in Cardiff has been on my bucket list since I first watched Torchwood back in 2012. It was always those "I'll get there eventually" destination that I thought would always be there. And I had good reason to, it's been a fixture in Cardiff since Ianto's death in 2009. But when I found out it was being taken down, my arse was kicked into gear and Niamh and I booked a last minute flight. As was the

The World is Watching
My favourite series growing up was The Hunger Games. I was emphatically obsessed, in fact. Reading has always been political. Media-books, TV, movies, art- are political. My writing is political. My books are political. I see what is happening. I read it as a teenager believing it was just fiction. I should have been prepared, but I thought in reality people were better than that. Turns out they're so much worse. Video by moonie_moth on Tiktok

Reading Roundup for 2025! 📚
Happy New Year everyone! I like to do my own reading roundups each year. Goodreads doesn't count audio books and manga, while Storygraph didn't have a couple of the books I read on their system. So, I just sort my own roundup up 😊 I read 32 books this year, a number I'm quite pleased with. I try not to be too statistic focused, but I will admit that my brain still focuses on the amount I've read more than I'd like. It's something I'm going to continue working on in 2026. My

A Year of Monday 📚
I can't believe my second novel is a year old already! Monday came out with less circus than The Seven, but I love it just as dearly. Matthew and Finn are fan favourite characters; I'm constantly being told by readers how much they loved reading them. And writing how they met was extremely cathartic for me (and the publishing process distracted me from my broken ankle at the time) I only hope the story was worth reading for all those who love Matthew and Finn so much! ❤️ The
