The Seven Turns Seven!

And just like that, The Seven is seven!

On April 18th 2019, The Seven entered the world. Nowhere near perfect, with a name blunder you wouldn't believe even if I told you, it was my debut nonetheless and I loved it.

First of all, I can't thank Isabel enough for the stunning picture of my seven psychotic children. I wanted a picture of all seven of them together before they separated ten years before the first book, and Isabel delivered that tenfold. Please, please go check out her work! 🙏🏻

There were a lot of speed bumps during my writing journey, including going independent, correcting said name blunder, learning the ins and outs of ISBNs, formatting, and regaining the confidence in my work and myself to go ahead with A Week of Stories despite being unsure. But there were so many more landmarks. Being long listed for an Entertainment Gala Award in 2020, to joining the indie author community across many platforms and making so many friends, to being invited to take part in Belfast Books and Ballgowns and hearing from not only those who have read my book, but who actually enjoyed my work and couldn't wait for more.

For many, ten years is the big milestone, but, c'mon, seven years of The Seven? We'll never be here again!

Thank you all so much for your support of my work. Sometimes I worry about not being successful enough to call myself an author, but always remind myself of this: my five year old self would think that I'm so cool because I have books published. And that's what matters most. I'm doing it for her.

Remember: Tuesday releases 06/06/26! Check out The Seven and Monday to catch up today!
