May Book Roundup šŸ“š

I've been ill for the past fortnight and I'm currently battling a bad headache, so I can't go into much detail. I don't trust myself to sound coherent. So we're just going to run over the bare basics.

Books read: 3

Star Average: āāā.6

Titles:

šŸ”øAll Our Hidden Gifts by Caroline O'Donoghue

šŸ”øThe Astonishing Colour of After by Emily X.R Pan

šŸ”øThe Nobleman's Guide to Scandal and Shipwrecks by Mackenzie Lee

The first two were pretty average reads but I would one hundred percent recommend The Nobleman's Guide. It is the third in a series by Mackenzie Lee, a series I have greatly enjoyed since I read the first book in 2020. I have been distancing myself from series' but this was a series I will always be willing to return to. The same can't be said for All Our Hidden Gifts, which I have chosen not to read the sequel because I'm just not interested enough. I also didn't find a sequel necessary, in my personal opinion.

Now that I have the freedom to buy myself books (I didn't want to buy anymore until my Christmas haul was finished) I'm going to read a couple of non fiction books in June. There's a couple in my radar already, and I'm looking forward to getting them.

I hope you all had a lovely May šŸŖ· We're halfway through the year already! šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«

Keep Creating,
